Broodmares
Three Mile broodmares have earned their place here. Not all have been shown but all have proven their ability and their worth here on the ranch. A strong cowhorse pedigree, straight legs, good bone and balanced conformation are only a few of our requirements. They must also have some speed, quickness and a natural ability to stop and turn-around. Most importantly, these mares have good dispositions and very trainable minds. Poco Puff Tari - 1994 AQHA Sorrel Mare 15.1H
Nice mare with good bone and a lot of cow. Used her a lot on the ranch before we started breeding her. She was great to get a days work done on and could have easily been shown in cutting. Her colts have some size, are balanced, correct and very athletic. Bred to Smart Berrie for a 2010 foal, a proven gray son of Smart Chic Olena out of a Colonel Freckles daughter.

Dainty Fair Lady - 1995 AQHA Sorrel Mare 15 H
Absolutely the best natured, most talented horse I have ever ridden. This mare was used lightly on the ranch through her 3 yr. old year and there was nothing she would not or could not do. She is a true athlete with a golden mind. Her value as a producer is proving to be even greater than she. Her foals are all exceptional and have the ability it takes to excel in today's performance events. She has produced three fillies - every one outstanding. Each of them is shown below and her 2000 filly sired by Mito N Bar topped the PRQHBA sale in 2004.
